Hi! I'm Grace.
I hail from the East Coast.
I now live in California.
I make outsider art and have an ongoing love affair with disturbing the peace.
I am the Program Director for a non-profit devoted to ending youth homelessness called Waking the Village.
I will always call out your racist, homophobic, misogynistic joke.
I won't apologize for being a buzzkill.
I started a program and social justice art studio space for youth called the Creation District.
I am a semi-professional tinkerer.
I write poetry and perform spoken word.
I run an open-mic called Speak Out Sacramento.
I believe in the power of urgent truth, fearless community, and strong coffee.
I am passionate about ending homelessness and write a blog called YIMBY about it.
I possess a severe allergic reaction to self-imposed ignorance.
I teach art and theatre to high school students from underserved communities through a program called College Track.
I perform improv at ComedySportz Sacramento.
I am infuriatingly optimistic and believe that the world can be saved in glances exchanged between strangers.
If you want to know more about me, read Frank O'Hara and put on a jazz record.
